The play works around a simple dramatic device. The drug is played by a person. "Buzz" is the central character. He is charismatic, very attractive and as the audience gradually discover, extremely dangerous. The intention is help the students understand how drugs work, see the effects they have both physically and psychologically, and to rehearse some effective strategies for dealing with drugs when they come across them in later life. |
